The City of Rockingham offer an expansive and easy way to find out your bin days, all you have to do is put in your address and they let you know when to put the bins out! The local library is a great resource for new Brightwood residents as it offers plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow neighbours while having some fun at the community events and activities. As Brightwood is located centrally, there’s lots to choose from, whether you’re after some kids activities, a workshop to learn a new skill or simply somewhere to browse and borrow a book. Local education

We know when looking at moving suburbs choosing somewhere with education options within close reach is a top priority. With 8 schools in the Baldivis area to choose from, you will have a choice of independent public schools and private schools with two Secondary options. The government has also announced a new Primary School will open in Baldivis. Yet to be named, the primary school will be located on Nairn Drive with construction starting in late 2019. Accommodating up to 430 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 it is anticipated the school will open in 2021. Keep an eye out for:

When it comes to finding the perfect park, Brightwoods Adventure Park ticks all of the boxes when it comes to a great day out for families, making it one of Perth’s best playgrounds. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained for hours including lots of fun play equipment, wide open green spaces to kick a ball and lots of shade for a delicious picnic. It’s also a great spot to meet fellow Brightwood residents!
