Given Brightwood is so close to the coast in Baldivis, it makes sense that there are plenty of seafood restaurants in the neighbourhood, but there’s a lot more to choose from too with something to suit every palate and occasion!

The multi award-winning chain, The Cray Seafood & Grill, famous for its cray platter, has one of their family-friendly restaurants in Rockingham which is open for lunch and dinner every day except Mondays.
Or head to Golden Ponds Restaurant to enjoy views from a beautiful lakeside setting on 100 acres overlooking a fish and marron farm, and savour lunch which of course features fresh seafood. You can even try your hand at catch-and-release fishing and Supa Golf while you are there. Bring along your fur-child too because even our four legged doggy friends are welcome.

Not a seafood fan? Family owned and run Catalano & Co Baldivis consistently gets rave reviews, and people travel long distances to dine there, especially for the home-made pasta and sauces created from recipes handed down through the family for generations. Fortunately for Brightwood residents it’s a walkable distance away which perhaps means you can indulge in a Biscoff Martini! Open every day from 7am ‘til late.
Close to Catalano & Co is Brother of Mine Café and Specialty Coffee Roastery near Baldivis Square Shopping Centre. This ranks as number one on Tripadvisor’s top Baldivis restaurants, with reviewers raving about their coffee and locally sourced seasonal produce in particular, and their vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, all “served with love” every day from 7am – 2pm.
The nearby larger Stockland Baldivis shopping precinct is home to Jamaica Blue, Soul Origin and Dome Cafe for a coffee boost, and for food on the run, there’s Grill’d, Zambreo and Pastacup amongst others. If you’d like a longer break, catch up with neighbourhood friends at The Continental European Bar & Bistro and The Chase Bar & Bistro.
